Ready, Set, Shoot!
Just starting out taking pictures with a digital camera and can’t seem to get good pictures? Well there’s no need to worry. With a few simple tips, you will be taking great photos whether it’s for a holiday card, a picture of your child or a beautiful outdoor scene. Now onto taking the picture! Don’t get confused with all the settings available on your digital camera. To focus on a single object such as a person, pet or even an object turn the camera dial to portrait mode (usually depicted by a person’s head). By having your camera in this mode, it draws attention to your subject and blurs the background. To make your subject appear even sharper in the photo, zoom in on your subject as much as you can and take steps back as to get their whole face back into focus.
